Hi everyone,

I am really interested to hear about people’s experiences with Fibroadenomas. I have recently been diagnosed with one and was wondering what size people’s were. Whether they increased in size, decreased, if you left them or opted for surgery.

thanks in advance

I’ve got one which was biopsied 11 years ago. It hasn’t grown since, so I haven’t done anything about it.

Do you know how big yours is?

I had one when I was 20 (over 20 years ago) it was huge (orange sized apparently) by the time I got it seen. I had surgery and have a scar that they managed to hide away to the side, so wasn't too terrible. Haven't had anything return since, but been told to look out for them. Hope you're ok!

Dd had one biopsed three years ago. It’s not changed.

I had one about 20 years ago. It was only about 2cm and I elected to leave it alone. It vanished of its own accord and has not reoccurred.
