Please can someone advise? Thursday pm had a front tooth extracted and a bridge placed immediately on top. Was told by the dentist that the pain should go down after 3-4 days. Now 5 days later still feeling the discomfort and tenderness with occasional throbbing pain. Is this normal or should I go back to dentist for a check up? Thanks

Go back if it’s been 5 days and it’s getting worse rather than better. It could be alveolar osteitis (dry socket) which is easy to treat

When I had a tooth extracted I then had to wait 3 months before the bridge could be fitted. I thought you had to wait but maybe not.

Definitely go back to the Dentist if it is still hurting badly.
