IS IT A Cold sore or SUNBURN

Is this a cold sore or sunburn, I have recently been on holiday and do suffer with my lips biting in the sun please can you help me determine whether this is a burn or a cold sore please

I'd say both. Sun exposure is the biggest trigger of cold sores for me, I'd say I'm sporting a cold sore in at least 66% of my holiday snaps from years gone by 😂

I use Ultrasun UV lip balm at the tiniest hint of sunshine nowadays and it seems to prevent them.
