Has anyone used clonodine for flushing?

I’m sick of looking bright red and wondered if this might be a solution? Has anyone got experience of this. Or take it for high blood pressure? Are there down sides or side effects? Is it possible to buy from online pharmacies?

I was prescribed it for menopausal sweats, made absolutely no difference (tried it for a month) so gave up. Didn't have any side effects personally that I can remember. I've found drinking cold drinks as opposed to hot ones and avoiding alcohol improves my symptoms not sure if that would help you in your situation though.

Thank you for replying. Saw a doctor this afternoon and he has gone down the rosacea antibiotic cream route. Not sure it will help flushing though. Helps that you said it made no difference- would be more disappointed if it had turned out to be a miracle cure!

Didn’t mean I’m glad it made no difference for you!

Hope the cream works. If not maybe clonodine would be worth a go for a month or so on the off chance it works for you.
