Hi I'm looking for some advice and support on my pelvic pain. 10 months ago during a very stressful time in my life I developed what felt like a very extreme UTI with severe bladder and urethral pain. All my cultures came back clear and I was told it was probably interstitial cystitis and given pregabalin. Fast forward to now I suffer from pain radiating down my legs, pain in my pelvis, a severe burning inside my vagina, urethral pain and really bad bloating. I have no urinary frequency and have had two internal vaginal scans that have shown nothing.Suffering with this is ruining my life and I'm so stressed not knowing what it is. I'm just reaching out to see if anyone has similar symptoms or any advice. Thanks so much

I'm afraid you need to push your doctor. At the very least an MRI, maybe an EMG, a referral to whichever specialist your doctor thinks is appropriate.

How old are you OP? Could it be menopause related?

Have you seen a urogynaecologist? If not you need a referral. Don’t let them fob you off.

Endometriosis usually doesn’t show on an ultrasound. An MRI might be best to push for as that can show it (it did for me). I’m having health issues too and it’s so draining so I can totally understand how awful it is and not knowing when you’ll be free of the pain/worry.
