Moving while on a waiting list for treatment

Adult DD has been waiting more than 2 yrs for a dynamic X-ray and injection for hip impingement. While waiting she moved to a different area with her fiancé and registered with a new GP.
She has now had a letter at my address (where she lived previously) with an appointment for pre-op assessment and procedure.
she doesn’t want to tell them she’s moved in case they say she can’t have it done, but I’m worried she will pay out for fares down here and they will ask about her GP and refuse to treat anyway.
Does anyone know where she stands? Could the referral be transferred to a different GP?
she is ND and in alot of pain so really wants to get this done.

They won't say she can't have it done is it still the same hospital trust? I have treatments up and down the country due to a rare condition. People don't just go to their nearest hospital.
