Lump under knee

I have a lump under my knee, I noticed it a few days ago and it looked like a smaller lump on a bigger lump. Now it’s just a bigger lump.
It hurts a little bit but not concerningly so.
Do I go to the GP or wait and see for longer?

I attached pictures.

Yes, it’s with checking it out, if only for your peace of mind.

Have you damaged your knee recently? I had this but it was a massive hard lump, MRI confirmed it was a cyst, I had it drained.

Doesn’t feel hard but hurts a bit when I press on it. No injury or bruising so don’t think I knocked it.

Possibly a small collection of fluid due to underlying joint inflammation? I had similar last year. Anti inflammatories and regular icing advised by GP. It took several weeks to settle but it eventually cleared. It does look similar. Probably best to have it checked .

Google Baker’s cyst - see if this could be it

Just make a GP appointment. They were really good with me. The doctor wasn't sure what mine was, so sent me for a knee X-ray, that was normal
but showed soft tissue swelling, so doctor sent me for an MRI via a fast referral. I had the MRI around 3 weeks later.
