Had 4 appointments now and they can’t find my IUD in order to take it out so we can try to conceive. I am really at a loss, and so dishearten. I have lots of medical conditions and finally got the go ahead that it is the right time to take my coil out but no it now can’t be find it and they said it could take up to 2 years to be seen as there is a backlog. Never thought getting out my coil would be such a drama, the pain I have already experienced with them trying to find it at the sexual health clinic was unbearable they literally were jabbing metal rods into me for 30 mins on one appointment not knowing where it was located, the last appointment they think the wall has grown over it abit but having to wait 2 years just feels ridiculous, I have no children and I really really want that, plus with it being imbedded I thought it would be more a priority
