Cyst removal surgery - waiting times?

Hello!

Anyone waiting on a cyst being surgically removed? Looking to see how many months you needed to wait? I am in Scotland if that makes a difference.

Measured 16cm back in February.

It will depend on your local authority and how large/disruptive it is.

I raised this with my GP (two largish epidemic cysts) in February, saw the surgeon two months later and, due to a cancellation, had them removed the month after. I'm in Grampian area if that helps.

When were you referred? What type of cysts?

Can't seem to edit, mistyped, should have said Epidermoid.

@Roomtostretch it is a mesenteric cyst measuring 16cm back in feb that requires two surgeons.

I am west of Scotland.
