Pain running up side and back

I have a pain that every now and then this evnening attacks my left side and back and kind of makes my nerves jot as if there about to go, what could it be?

Oh yes forgot to mention i only have one kidney - The left one, normally things like this i ignore but this is a strange one and must be carefull of these things coz of kidney...

Nope, but do get it checked out twr...as you say, need to be careful with one kidney.

I find most back/side things turn out to be nerve related, to do with muscles and ligaments and a dodgy back, but nonetheless, get checked out!

I have sciatica but this is a different kind of pain. very weird. Oh well i shall get into docters if it gets worse!
