My dd has had slightly red puffy eyes for the last couple of weeks. Ive taken her to the docs and he seemed to dismiss it as nothing. Just wondered if anyone has come across this before with their dc.

Is hayfever a possibliity? It is hayfever season.

I'm with DumblesdoresGirl, I bet it is hayfever. DD didn't start hers until she was 7.

Hayfever. It has started early with a vengeance this year. Ask your local pharmacist about some drops. They will know what seems to be helpful/popular for the current allergen.

DS2 had red puffy eyes yesterday. It was his hayfever. I bought some 'infected eye' from the pharmacy and it looks a lot better today.

Thanks for replies. I asked the doctor if it was hayfever and he said 'no, chn under 2 don't have allergies'??? I've looked this up on the net and docs used to think that was the case but some are thinking differently now. Any experience of this?
