My son was prescribed this by a GP today. Is it ok for him to take, as the leaflet suggests not? Should it have been the nasal spray we were given? Any advice gratefully received.

If the GP has prescribed, it would be fine despite the leaflet. The nasal spray is the same drug, just a different method. Some people's find sprays or injection work better for them.

It'll be fine but yes, it should have been a nasal spray version for his age.

It's the same drug, just a different method of taking it.
