Really want to be there for DB but also worried about my family. Do I need to worry?

DB will be having radiotherapy treatment and he has asked if he stay with me for a few weeks after the treatment. I have researched the treatment and it says DB will be radioactive for several days after the treatment.

i really want to support my DB but also worried about whether DB being radioactive for several days will be harmful for my family. I have DS (13), DD (14). DH has some health conditions.

Grateful if any mumsnetters are familiar with this type of treatment and should I be worried?

It would appear if he is undergoing the kind of treatment that means he will be radioactive he won’t be let out until it is at a safe level.
