Unexplained swelling back of (L) hand

Hi all spent 12 hours in A&E with this after calling NHS 24 for advice . No injury to my hand I was holding something with I started to experience pins and needles and extreme pain in my arm , gout and cellulitis ruled out doctor thinks it’s arthritis no idea what caused it still suffering a few days later

Looks like some sort of infection. Did they do bloods?

It looks very much like cellulitis to me. Mine often began like that and then started weeping a couple of days later.

Have you been bitten by something? Onset bit quick for cellulitis

Took bloods they all came back clear no sign of infection

Ruled out cellulitis ( which I thought it was ) ruled out gout suggested it may be arthritis I have Hypocalcemia ( low blood calcium) which causes pins and needles in my fingers and toes but they checked my calcium levels and said they where normal so it’s a mystery

No insect bites that I’m aware of I was holding a cushion and my hand went into a painful spasm and pins and needles
