Virus leaving us with horrendous cough and ear infection

Has anyone else had this virus over the last few weeks. It started like a cold, sore throat, then we started coughing and coughing and more coughing, tested negative for Covid.
Two weeks on we are still coughing and DH has horrendous ear infection. Antibiotics don’t seem to help.

Yes, DS went down with it the first day of half term and I caught it three days later. A cold, cough and I had earache for a day. So annoying, it ruined our week off.

We eat 30 fruit & veg a week to boost immune systems, which seems to work. We are more or less better now. I'll go for a run later and see if I'm still wheezy.

Try eating lots of veggie soups - vitamins, antioxidants and lots of fluids. I hope you're better soon.

Yes that sounds like our pattern but I’ve had yet another rough night coughing. Urghh.
