Couple of weeks, you need to be resting your voice as much as possible, when you do have to talk, try to talk normally not trying to whisper because whispering is actually harder work for your larynx so strains it more. Lots and lots of fluid, I didn’t have any real pain with it but keeping your throat moist is supposed to help with healing and inflammation reduction. Ibuprofen if there’s no medical reason against it because it will help with swelling in general.

Warm lemon and honey water as often as you feel you need it. Stay hydrated!!
Took me about 1 week this year.

A couple of weeks. But it was winter so immediately followed by a sick bug which was then followed up by a flu like virus (COVID?) and the cough from hell for 6 weeks. I think my line manager felt bad having to give me a disciplinary for time off because I was clearly unwell. Hope you soon feel better.
