Molar removal pain, when will it end!

Last week dentist attempted to removal a lower molar which had infection deep down in root but it snapped to I returned 4 days ago to have it removed with gum cut, got dissolvable stitches. The pain is still really bad! No bad taste and site looks ok but pain on neighbouring tooth when touch and pain all up face to my ear and eye. I do have a check up later to check it after I called and said im still in pain but can someone reassure me its very normal?! Thanks

Sounds like the other tooth needs looking at as it may have been disturbed. They might tell you it will settle.
Have you looked up dry socket…. Very painful … could be what you’re experiencing… I had the same and it was awful… tooth ache is the worse. Just eat as many paracetamol as you can - without over dosing!

@Motherearthisbusy thank you. I did wonder if ddy socket, they did say it could be! The neighbouring tooth yesterday i was convinced was moving but its was a very traumatic removal and he did say it's going to be painful following

You’ve had minor surgery probably involving a bit of bone removal - it is bound to be sore afterwards

Update- been to dentist and the clot had fallen out. Did mentioned i actually swallowed something unexpectedly later in same day I had tooth out.
Has been packed with some clove tasting thing and feels instantly better! Hoping it remains like this!

Glad you feel better. Just be very careful this weekend when eating and drinking. Lucky you don’t have to suffer over the weekend.
