High cortisol after dexamethasone - does this connect with hypothroid/high cholesterol?

Waiting for a gp phone call & I'm looking for a bit of background

My thyroid is probably undermedicated according to private consultant & she is working with the gp to raise it

My cholesterol and triglycerides are high and I have been referred to the hospital

I know these are connected as when my tsh drops so does my cholesterol

Where does cortisol sit with all this? Is ut part of the loop or something different
