Seizures - experience and advice

Experienced my first seizure a week ago, completely out of the blue. I’m waiting for a neurology appointment but keen to learn more from anyone who is willing to share please.

I have no recollection of the seizure, only know what my DH has told me - he was thankfully with me at the time.

Has anyone any advice please? I’m keeping some notes about how I’m feeling and questions to ask. Has anyone just had one episode and then no more? Or an epilepsy diagnosis? How hard is it to be allowed to drive again?

Thank you.

I had a bad seizure out of the blue several years back, then another two where I had an aura so kind of had warning it was going to happen.
The neurologist found nothing unusual.
I haven't had one now for about six years.
I guess there's a chance I could have another but I don't know what caused it at all!
