Chest pain to the right side?

I have an xray tomorrow & I’m really scared about what the results might be. I’ve had chest pain on my right side since January. It’s on and off pain, not super painful just uncomfortable. It’s behind my right breastbone in line with the height of where my heart is.

Has anyone had this before & it wasn’t something super scary like the big C word? Cos that’s all my brain is going too & I’m just so worried

Could it be gallstones?

Indigestion, referred pain from my stomach I think.

I had something very similar it was so painful . I was taking so much Gaviscon , went to the Dr he done a Pylori test which was negative
The pain disappeared the Dr thinks it could have been stress related when a lot of acid is produced .
I can imagine your worry but it might be nothing sinister .

Is it more painful when you breathe deeply? DH and I both had that as the starting point for a pre covid virus. Family member has recently had similar pain and I believe it was a virus which has now pretty much gone away.

Maybe but I wasn’t sure if gallstone pain could go up as high as this
