Hi all,

firstly sorry for the TMI, secondly, i've NC.

for years now i think i may have had a rectal prolapse.
i feel a bulge when i go for a BM and lately it's gotten worse as i feel i'm never fully emptying my bowels.

i just looked - sorry tmi - and its like a big bit of swelling comes out when i push, a little bit i need to push in but the rest goes in on its own. its NOT all pink though. is this still likely to be a prolapse?

i have a gp appointment today. i am very nervous. i'm most worried about wasting their time to be honest.

thanks.

It sounds to me like you have piles. I get piles all the time due to my age!! Mine is ever present, but varies in size. I use pessaries and external cream whenever I go to the loo
