Compression socks

Hi , Im travelling long haul soon and looking for compression socks .My current ones are from boots they are nylon and while they do the job are so difficult to get on
My ankles swell terribly unless I wear them
Any recommendations for some that are not nylon please

Unfortunately, all compression socks are tight. That is the whole point of them.

@raspberrymilkshake- hi, similar situation here. I hate the Boots ones - exhausting to get on.

have you found out why your ankles swell? In my case, I think it’s HRT. Can’t be sure though. Have you found your cause?

I don’t know the cause but I am on HRT as well
When I had my travel jabs last year the nurse suggested that I should wear them even if my ankles don’t swell , I’m 50 .
Last year we done a fly drive holiday in a hot climate which was sometimes high altitudes my ankles were huge so I had to start wearing the socks in the car .

I’m just really looking for a pair that aren’t so nylon . There are so many Scholl, boots own brand that have mixed reviews

There's a brand called "not your grandma's" that are more like cotton, tight socks.

Also, look on amazon for running compression socks. They still compress but are better in terms of breathability.

These are great. Odd on purpose with a great story behind why. Funky patterns too. I wear them for running.

I have the Boots one and they are so hard to wear. I’m tempted by monkeysox that pp posted.
