Having a nightmare

I've been breathless since September last year and feeling very fatigued. I contacted my Dr who did some bloodtests and there was no follow up. I contacted my Dr again and she asked me to do peak flow tests and ordered x rays.

Meanwhile in March this year I started vomiting and had severe stomach pain. Dr said suspected gallstones. Last week I had the x ray and ultrasound. Dr contacted me yesterday and said ultrasound was clear but I have a chest infection and she has prescribed antibiotics.

Does this all sound like a chest infection? I'm thinking pneumonia.

Have you got access to your NHS app? Did you have iron, thyroid and B12 tested?
How old are you?

Sounds like you need blood tests but also the peak flow test because breathlessness and recurring chest infections can mean COPD

I'm 52 and yes, all those normal although iron was a bit low but I've been taking supplements.

I haven't had recurring chest infections. Peak flow was good. I've had blood tests, showed infection.

Particularly look at your ferritin, if it was low you’d be better on ferrous Fumarate, if you’re not already.
