....can anyone please tell me why Mooncups have ml measures marked on them?

does anyone seriously like to keep track of their output?

or is it so you can use them as measuring spoons between periods?

I'd never thought of that before.... No I don't keep track, though never get to halfway even when I leave it all day. In case you were wondering. sorry if TMI!

LittleMyDancing · 21/05/2008 15:57

it's bizarre, isn't it?

Mine hasn't got mils on them, but it was using a mooncup that I realised my periods were a lot heavier than normal.

LittleMyDancing · 21/05/2008 19:51

a useful aspect to Mooncups, then.

I think some people do like to keep track of it, yes
people on here have compared and discussed this before, for sure
apart from the sheer intriguing nature of what our bodies are doing, it can be useful from a health point of view to know how much blood you are losing
some people take this information to their doctors as part of an attempt to get help for very difficult or heavy periods

LittleMyDancing · 21/05/2008 19:55

aha, now i understand. was temporarily confused by the idea, but I can see it makes sense.

it's a relatively new thing, I think
my one hasn't got it

Mine has the measurements marked on them, and following my ops recently I have used them - to see whether the ops hve "worked" and led to me having more normal periods. If last month was anything to go by however I don;t think they have - never once reached the first marking, and only had to use the mooncup for 1.5 days.
