I've been on day 8 from my surgical extraction I've still have the clot in view and use warm salt water daily and the only things that causes problems is when standing and walking it causes swelling as the blood pressure goes up best to sit or lay down and have a low heart rate. Also try not to cough as it can cause unwanted feelings in that extraction area, I hope mine heals soon as its soo boring after care

I was told that the blood clot is the essential part of the healing process as it prevents ‘dry socket’. By now you should be on the safe side though.

Aww GIF

Also the swelling is the healing process to. Although it takes ages to heal, most people get Sutures to close gum together which most likely help quicker healing

I was literally about to create a post about my molar removal today and this was here! I had a molar partly removed today. Dentist couldn't get it all, said likely dead a while and while got a huge chuck there's a big chunk still in gum. Ive got to return in couple of days to see special at dental practice. Anyone know what this involves?
Thanks
