Dd uses both!
Stugeron tablets and various bands, no one brand seems better than any others of those.
She’s suffered with travel sickness since she was a toddler and we thought she’d grow out of it. She’s in her 20’s now and still practically turns green just looking at a car 😂 the tablets and bands keep the sickness and most of the nausea at bay although she swears by salty crisps and a lemonade at the end of the journey.

Stugeron works for me. Just one tablet an hour before the journey.

Snoods · 28/05/2025 21:07

Sturgeron works for my DH
We Cruise yearly and he’s had these for the last 5/6 years and they always seem to do the trick

CatsorDogsrule · 28/05/2025 21:11

Stugeron for me too, but Kwells is ok also. The bands don't work for me.

PrawnofthePatriarchy · 28/05/2025 21:16

Bands work brilliantly for me. I seem to remember a proper clinical trial was done on nausea due to chemotherapy and the bands worked reliably.

I take fexofenadine for hayfever and they work a treat for sea travel . None drowsiness as well

caffelattetogo · 28/05/2025 21:20

Salty crisps and stugeron here too.

Thank you all so much! I’m going deep sea fishing in Florida and want to be prepared!

Boots own brand are the best thing for me. I’ve been through them all and hands down for me it’s the best. I have never grown out of it. Buses and trains are my worst and Even now aged nearly 50 I will always drive if I can! Even the smell of joy rides has me turning green, which I’m sure would agree isn’t great for a travel sickness tablet 😂
