Palpitations, racing heart, lethargy joint and muscle paint, just basically feeling shit all day everyday. I’m glad you posted I need to order some more

I've had this too. My gp told me to use the spray as it absorbs efficiently.

It's a simple supplement and taken at prescribed dose is much, much better than being deficient - which has all sorts of ill effects.

Take the pills. Seriously. You'll feel much better quite quickly.

Felt like death and everything hurt. 7 weeks of vitamin d loading and by week 6 felt like a million bucks!

In addition to getting Vit D supplement sorted, you also need to speak to GP about your ferritin levels - it should be minimum 30 or given supplements - if it drops below 15, then you should be offered an iron infusion as tablets are unlikely to bring it up sufficiently within 3 months which is the initial supplement period they recommend.

I was in a loading dose of 20,000 for two weeks and now one a month, you’ll feel so much better once they’ve kicked in, well worth trying them.

I was similar to you Vit D 20, Ferritin 5. I was never quite sure which was responsible for what symptom to be honest, but I was permanently exhausted, muscles and joints were really painful, my hair was falling out, I was breathless.

After 6 weeks of the loading dose of Vit D and taking ferrous fumarate to boost the ferritin I felt 100 times better.

I didn't get on great with the iron, but honestly had no side effects from the Vit D. Honestly, you will feel so much better.

Lilxa89 · 27/05/2025 14:24

@LovedFedAndNoonesDead hey thanks for commenting. I managed to get ferrous fumarate from dr after begging before as my transferrin was low at 12% but came back up to 51%. Dr just keeps telling me my iron is normal anythinf above 5 with my ferritin is normal. That's why I've had to turn to the groups :( thwyvjuat keep blaming everything on anxoety

Exhaustion, lethargy, weak muscles, sore Achilles…

Take the tablets. I had no side effects with them, and they did make a difference.
