B12 etc

12 weeks I was prescribed B12, iron tablets, and folic acid.

This came about as I had had angular cheilitis twice in three months, so I went to the nurse and they did a blood test.

I called for results and the receptionist said I must be absolutely shattered and that I had been prescribed the above. End of conversation.

The tablets are coming to an end. I don’t feel any more or less tired, to know if they’ve made a difference, and I did have the beginnings of the AC again, but i it died off quickly.

Do I leave it there, or do I book in for another blood test?

Book an appointment with GP to get bloods checked again.

My DM (elderly ) has been prescribed folic acid and she has been told she has to have a blood test in 3 months to see if difference in her blood results.

There may be something else going on ?

Absorption of those vitamins could be the problem .
I have had that and have had the injections.

I had to go for a follow up blood test after a B12 injection and course of B12 and folic acid tablets
