Pulsatile tinnitus

Has anyone experienced this? It’s on my left side and I’ve had it for 2 years now. It started happening after an ear infection. The doctor has looked in my ear countless times since and each time says my ear looks fine. I finally have an appointment with ENT tomorrow. What should I expect? Really hope they can help and give me some answers as 2 years is a long time to put up with this!

I had it for around 30 years. It stopped suddenly 5 years ago shortly after I started doing daily saline rinses for my sinuses.
I do still have the regular type of tinnitus though.
