Hello all,
I wonder if someone would be able to interpret these echo results for us please. They are from our 24 year old daughter. She was diagnosed with a systolic heart murmur by our brilliant GP after she had some palpitations. Ecg's have all been normal. However she has been referred for an echo as we have a strong family history of heart issues. My sister passed away during heart surgery when she was 16 and our other daughter collapsed at school when she was 13 and required surgery for a number of atrial septum defects. I think from what I am reading, it is ok but note the dilated left atrium, I think it's reassuring that no follow up is recommended based on echo alone, but given what we have been through with family heart problems, it has scared us again. Like reliving a nightmare. Our GP is wonderful and chased the results even though we only went this morning, and this is what has shown on the nhs app. Would be so grateful for some interpretation of these results. Thank you 🙏

Replying to my own message, but we have been given the all clear from our GP. We are so so lucky to have wonderful surgery and a gp who has contacted us at 9pm on a Friday night to reassure us all was normal. So so so grateful.
