Retraction pocket (ears)

Never actually heard of this just come back from having hearing test and was given two sheets of imformation to give to the dr, wonder if this was causing my 6 weeks of vertigo Anyond got it or even heard of this

A pressure imbalance in the middle
ear, which causes your eardrum to change shape, creating the pocket.

How have they suggested treating it?

They haven’t suggested treating it as such I’ve had hearing test and hearing has gone down quite a bit I’m to take the imformation to my dr on Tuesday and hopefully he will refer to ENT
