So worried

I literally feel like I have no one to talk to, I’m so worried about my moles having one removed next week and I have multiple abnormal looking ones, I have a large one with different shades in it, dermatologist said she’s not worried but I can’t stop worrying, does anyone have strange looking moles and there fine with different colours here’s a pic

Your dermatologist isn’t worried. Why would you think that random MNetters would know any better?!

I’m just looking for someone talk to due to having no friends in real life and I don’t want keep annoying my family just can’t stop looking at it and seeing how strange it looks

I don’t think that looks dodgy. It doesn’t have any of the warning signs.

Note: I am not a doctor but I have had 15 moles removed over the years.

Lots of people have moles with different shades that are completely harmless. Your dermatologist is an expert, if she isn't worried then trust her.

Do you suffer from health anxiety?

You have been posting for months about your moles. Seeking reassurance will not help you. You need help with your anxiety. Ask the doctor about that rather than moles. You may need medication and talking therapy.

All of mine were odd looking and darker and lumpier than yours but you need to trust what your dermatologist said.

I’ve got moles that look like that and they are just that - moles . Get some help for your health anxiety , living like this is not good for you

Looks perfectly normal to me. I've got loads of oddly shaped moles, all normal.

Sorry everyone I do suffer really bad with health anxiety especially because I’m covered in so many moles and scared of melanoma

Have you told your GP about your health anxiety? You don't have to suffer - there is help available.
