4 AMAZING men sitting in our tiny rural French village.......helping people going through the terrible journey as the wonderful OJ and Steve are now. Have you heard about them?

I hoe it's ok to post this here.

Whilst walking with my mum today through our tiny rural French village I was surprised to see 4 handsome men sitting on a wall with their cycles resting aside.

Man:Excuse me could you take a photo of us.

Me:Of course...... Enjoying your cycle ride? where are you going?

Man: Barcelona

Me: REALLY?

All 4 of the men: YES

Me: You nutters!

Men: Thanks....

They are the mad cyclists, the are raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support and the Working Hospice. They are on day 4 of their fundraising ride today.

Of course with the wonderful OJ and Steve so high on all our thought lists at this time, I immediately thought of them.

So many of us feel un able to "DO" anything, I felt an urge to want to support these amazing guys who are helping all those millions going through a truly horrible time.

Maybe you could take the time to have a look at their site and see what an inspirational quartet they are.

It's a long way to cycle, I still think they are nutters. But AMAZING!!

The Mad Cyclists They have a blog linked where messages can be left for them.

Oh WOW, they are doing it for McMillan and Woking Hospice, the wonderful hospice which nursed my friend's mum through the last few weeks of her life.

What a fantastic bunch. Will have a good look at their blog and website later and make a donation.

And you are right, they are very handsome

I have a friend in Cognac who was telling me that there is now an English market nearby with fish and chips and sausage rolls and men in sandals and socks braying about the ale brewed in their barns.

Madamejaffa · 20/05/2008 17:14

LOL, yes, that'll be in Aigre...... it's the tinyiest English market you have ever seen though. Cognac is Beuatiful... I'm about 45mins from there, 10 minutes from Aigre.

Bump this is for Macmillan ladies & gents, they're doing such a great job for Oj & Steve.

If you can't donate merely pass on the link to as many in your address book as possible to get publicity for the Nutty Crew!
