Bruising from light pressure?

Hi all

I have a GP appointment booked for 2 weeks time but I am wondering if anyone has any idea on what could cause this.

I am bruising very very easily, from scratching myself to just wearing my bra. (Photo attached)

I seem to get bigger more standard bruises on my legs from scratching say my thighs and these tiny pink prick bruises other places like my breasts or where my straps sit.

Is anyone able to solve the mystery of why?

Thanks

So I get these if I scratch, but then again I am on a blood thinner. I would not consider your photo as a bruise though, just small burst capillaries. Do you get actual bruises? A blood thinner is a vitamin K antagonist, so perhaps you lack that in your diet? It is in all green vegetables like broccoli, Brussel sprouts etc., you can google other foodstuffs. That is just my perspective, obviously there could be many other reasons.

I sometimes get marks like that under my arms from my bra, or on my shoulder if I've been carrying a bag all day.

If it's new for you then you should talk to a Dr though.

If this is new for you, it would be reasonable to do a full blood count to make sure you don’t have low platelets.
