Alveogyl Advice

Hi all!
I was diagnosed with the dreaded dry socket last Tuesday, I’ve been on two lots of antibiotics since, and had two lots of alveogyl packed in. I’m still a bit achey and twingey but it’s so much better than it was.

I’ve noticed I’ve lost a clump (🤢) of alveogyl today, is that what happens? Does the new tissue push it out? When can I finally stop worrying about food getting stuck down there?!
Also any positive post-dry socket timelines welcome, I’m worried that I’ll never eat a roast potato again 😭

It's normal for bits of it to come out of the socket don't worry. Do a couple of warm salty mouth rinses to keep it clean.
