My DD had a bad reaction to nurofen (being sick), never gave it her again - get advice from NHS direct.

Hopefully he will be okay but best to get him checked.

WigWamBam · 20/05/2008 16:15

It sounds as if he was reacting to the medicine - one of the listed side-effects of Nurofen for Children is headache.

Hope he's OK.

NotABanana · 20/05/2008 17:58

I also wondered if it was a side effect but didn't want to post that incase it worried you more. How did you get on at the GP?

cheesesarnie · 20/05/2008 22:25

thanks for messages.well he completly perked up!he got better as suddenly as hed got poorly!so we cancelled appointment -someone else probably needed it more.i think i'll be chucking the nurofen,i dont want to risk that it was maybe a side affect.also listed was stomach upsets and thats something hes prone to.what would i do without mn to calm my nerves!

That's good and I think you are right to not use Nurofen anymore.
