Hi all,
I had my ankle operated on Monday last week. Surgery went v well apparently. I’m now convalescing lying down with my foot elevated for recovery. I started having pain only when the anaesthetic was wearing off but it was manageable, just a few days.
Now a week post op it’s been 2 nights in a row that I have shooting pain in my heel at night, making me unable to sleep. For reference I’m elevating my foot on one of these: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B0CTT7Q8LQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title
Did this happen to anyone else? any idea why it might be happening?
