Threadworm as adult help please

Just discovered I've got threadworm! 68 yrs old no contact with children so no idea where I've got them from. Anyway my question is prepared lunch for elderly PIL yesterday will I have infected them?

Adults get them too, just take the regular treatment. And again a couple of weeks later. As long as you washed your hands between scratching your butt and preparing their food they will be fine.
