Hello, I've just had the above blood test results back and have a follow up appointment in the morning but trying to prepare myself. From what I can work out the ferritin is very low but the haemoglobin is not so bad. Has anyone had similar? Do you know what the treatment is likely to be or is there anything in particular I should ask for? I've had bad experiences with being brushed off by GPs in the past so like to go in prepared, currently feeling pretty run down 😕

Are you sure your haemoglobin is 25.4 and not 125.4? Ferritin is low, its probably anaemia and they will give you some iron tablets or an iron infusion at the hospital.
