Private t3 & t4 testing

I have been suffering with various symptoms for over a year. I think that the most likely cause is hypothyroidism. I expressed this to my gp and he said that my tsh is normal so not hypothyroidism. I asked if he would test my t3 & t4. He said no because tsh is normal. I asked again and he said he’d have to twist some arms it’s not standard. He sent me off for a load of blood tests (looking for other possible causes of my symptoms). Results back today and he hasn’t tested t3 & t4. I’m fuming. Everything I’ve read says that you can have it even with normal tsh. And even if it’s not that at least it crosses it off my list so I can start looking for other things.
I’ve just done a quick google and you can buy home kits which will test this all for me. MonitorMyHealth do one for £42. Has anyone used them? Or can recommend another relatively cheap option? I just want to check it off my mental list of possibilities.
Thanks in advance for any help.

And just to add. In this last round of blood tests I had low fsh which can be caused by hypothyroidism. I’m so mad at my dr for not ordering a test.
