Does this sound like a UTI?

I’m on day four now of lower abdominal pain, lower back pain, some nausea and as of tonight a grumbling tummy.

The main area of abdominal pain seems to be more pelvic, below the belly button and close to bikini line.

I have no fever, no burning when I wee etc. I’ve never had a UTI before, the doctor did a dip test and it was normal, but i’ve since read online at how unreliable they are. So confused and in so much discomfort. It’s not getting any better.

They told me to return tomorrow if symptoms persist.

I just wanted to know if anyone has experienced anything similar? Thank you.

That does sound like a uti - however not all the symptoms. I would defo go back and see what they suggest.

I’m in two minds, to be honest. Could it be gynae or bowel related?

It may be a UTI, but my symptoms have always been quite different to those you describe (although I do sometimes experience mild lower back with it). But please don’t listen to my judgement, as I have no medical qualifications.

I definitely think you need to return to the GP tomorrow. I hope you are feeling better very soon.
