So I’ve had this happen before a few times where I’ve woken up with a stiff neck on one side (obviously laid funny on it) hurts when I try to turn my neck to one side and causes a sharp pain ! Now feeling somewhat nauseous, assuming from the neck pain?
anyone else had this and know what might help relieve it ?

I had something similar recently only couldn’t move my neck at all. GP gave me diazepam (muscle relaxant) and ordered and MRI. Turns out I have arthritis in my neck after 25 years working on a laptop - I never used separate screen/keyboard/foot rest etc but do now!! Do you use a laptop all day? I find looking into the camera since covid is a big issue due to how you end up holding your head forward.

I’ve had this after sleeping on a too high pillow so maybe look at your pillow

Although I think underlying tension from screen use probably contributes too

Like PP, I have arthritis in my neck which started like you say. The consultant said neck pain is very unlikely to be because you slept funny …
