Breathless at 9 weeks pregnant - see GP now or Midwife in 2 weeks?

Title says it all really. I have been taking an iron supplement so I shouldn't be deficient but maybe I am? I am completely exhauseted but nothing unusual there! I keep taking big sighing breaths IYSWIM.

Any thoughts? I did wonder about NHS direct but they always say see your GP for anything IME.

Some exhaustion and breathlessness is normal in pregnancy, but if it's bothering you that much to consider phoning NNS direct, then I think you should see your GP.

OK cheers Belgo, you are such a star

I was the same, TPL, but agree with belgo - if you're worried, see GP. They are there for peace of mind as well as other things

Thanks elibean. What was the trouble in your case?
