Is this cut infected? Any advice?

Hello,

My mum accidentally caught my 12 week old sfinger when clipping her into her swing. We immediatly sprayed with anti-septic spray.

I sort of forgot about it and this is it two days later. Does it look okay? I have cleaned it with a salt-water wipe, put some sudacrem on it with plaster. But worried it's looking a little yellow. I am wondering if the yellow is just the skin that was clipped but not completly detached.

She had her vaccines yesterday, so had a slight temp. But other than that she has no signs of infection and her finger does not appear to hurt.

Thanks in advance!

I wouldn't say so, no.

Wash well and apply an antiseptic cream, put a plaster on

You could also bathe in salt water (good luck with that)

It looks like it's healing well @Toadhall44

Looks ok. Doesn’t have a red ring around it that is spreading.
keep it clean and a good eye on it and I think you’ll be fine.

I wouldn't put a plaster on it, bathe with salt water and let the air get at it. Looks like it's healing well.
