quite a few of us have just done the moonwalk see this thread

so it may be rather quiet on here from the walkers for a while

personally I'm going back to cycling and swimming which I much prefer - although I'm glad I did it

Merryberry - we'll be there for at least another month, until Ellbell does the Edinburgh moonwalk! We promised we wouldn't desert her, just because we've done ours! Please feel free to join in, then maybe after mid-June when she's done it, we could start a new thread...

So welcome! I'm a die-hard power walker, having doen 4 moonwalks now. Have tried running but it just doesn't do it for me. But those of us who post are real mixed bunch, so please join us

Here's a good map to measure the distance you've walked...
it's an American map to start, but if you put your postcode in it will come up with your area...
don't forget to double click on the start recording button to get it to work...(took me ages to figure that out...)
I use this to see how far I've walked with the dog...

oppps... ... would help if you have the link
www.gmap-pedometer.com/

OOh that pedometer link is good. I've walked 3.5 miles today according to that because we walked to the park and back is that good? How many miles are you all walking a day?

merryberry · 20/05/2008 18:56

don't think there's many of us here...try the thread from mimsum's post for more people? or maybe we are a party now
