Borderline thyroid?

Star8181 · 06/05/2025 22:06

Can I experience symptoms from this?
I have…weight gain, constipation, fatigue, dry skin, sore muscles…but it could be any of my chronic illnesses causing this: Ehlers Danlos, POTS, or maybe even peri menopause?
anyone more knowledgeable than me around?

I don’t know about these results but just wanted to say I feel your pain- currently have similar symptoms and don’t know what’s causing. Also could be peri.

Thanks for the reply @Alanpartridg Yes so very difficult to decipher! I feel like I’m falling apart in my early 40s!

Yep same- many nights lying awake ! Lots of hot flushes.

Wouldn't have thought so, my TSH is 11 and I don't really have those symptoms (except for the dry skin) and your TSH is pretty low. I'm also only borderline for meds so I wouldn't have thought with such low results you would be.

Your TSH is optimal. T4 is a little low, can you ask for a full thyroid panel? Though with such optimal TAG your symptoms could be caused by something completely different.
