Hard lymph node and pain

Anyone ever had this, I've got a hard lymph node as in rock hard on my neck - anterior cervical area and pain in that area if I hiccup but not constant, anyone have it or had it? What did it turn out to be?

I had one which was hard on one side of my face along with swelling on my neck along with extreme pain which turned out to be shingles on my face and mouth.

I have ME/CFS and regularly get hard, tender lymph nodes in my neck, groin and armpits/collarbone. They just come and go and have done for decades, usually if I’ve had an infection or I’m run down. Sometimes something as simple as a spot on my scalp can cause a swollen gland in my neck nearby.
