What is wrong with me? Asleep for two days

I have been completely wiped out since Saturday. I slept most of Sunday and Monday and am pretty tired today, but not feeling quite so grotty. The other symptoms are weird. Very sore roof of mouth like a burn from too hot liquid and weird tingling gums, terrible aching, painful joints and backache, sinus pain and eye pain, but no temperature and a huge appetite. I also seem to have an almost coldsore (it's there but seems to have gone through all the stages without errupting properly).

Can you have a generalised histamine response? I took an allevia and felt a bit better yesterday, the pain all over seems to have abated today. I just wish I knew what was going on. Is it a perfect storm of hormones (I often get a wipe-out day when I have to sleep for an afternoon), hayfever (worse than ever) and a cold sore (often have neuralgia in my face and feel rough from this) or have I got a virus or what? It's like flu, but without the flu symptoms iyswim.

I know no one can diagnose on Mumsnet, but it's all too nebulous for the GP (if I could get an appointment) and it's pretty debilitating to be out of action like this. Has anyone had anything similar?

It could be Covid! My DH felt like this recently (especially the tiredness, and also bad backache and general aches). We had some old Covid tests lying around, so he did one out of curiosity! It was positive. Thankfully he’s much better now, but it took around a week for him to feel less exhausted.

That was me with Covid.
Passed out at night, really felt weird.
Ate , drank and lost 5 hours on sofa.

Pregnant?

@Unexpectedlysinglemum that would be a bit of surprise at 51!

Oh god, not COVID? I actually hadn't considered that - but I have none of cough or sore throat symptoms.

I have an op on Friday. Better get a test.
