Dd1 has these again!! One jumped out of her hair this morning while I was brushing it.

We have a bottle of Hedrin from the pharmacist. I'd like to try the conditioner/combing treatment in stead. How long do I leave the conditioner on the hair for? I have a nitty-gritty comb, do I comb after the conditioner or while it is on the hair?

I've kept her off school but after extensive searching through ds's hair can't see any in his. SO I have sent him - will I have really pee'd off the school by not keeping him off too? Dd2 also seems ok - not sure whether to send her to nursery or not!

And a total PIA as Dd2 is going back after chickenpox today and I thought I might have the day to actually get on with the 2 essays I have to write in the next 3 weeks for college. At least dd1 (8) will amuse herself a good bit!

comb through with the conditioner in (though is the nitty gritty one of those zapper things? If so I would leave conditioner off). Fine to send your son in imo.

You have my total sympathy. headlice are the bane of my life we have a real problem with them at my dc's school. They get them at least twice a term!! Alot of parents send children into school with them as they'have not had time to treat them'!!! Some people refuse to admit their child could have them etc. i am driven mad by the expense and time they take up. Argggggh HEAD LICE!!!!

Rage over

Feel much the same! 2nd time this year we have had them.

Just had stinking row with dh about it as he is also at college today and yet has assumed i will stay at home with dd1. Neither of us have lectures, just work for essys exams today.

Off to post in relationships!
