Hayfever?

I went for a 3 mile walk along the canal near me the other evening, within about 10 minutes of starting the walk my nose was streaming profusely along with constant sneezing. I had a headache too. Is this hay fever? I've never had this before and I am not too young - can it come on like that - out of the blue?

It does sound like it. The tree pollen is very bad at the moment and my hayfever is bad. You can take tiny, daily, inexpensive allergy tablets to combat it. By far the best are those where the active ingredient is loratedine, as it works well but, crucially, doesn't make you sleepy. Things like Clarityn make me feel weird and jetlagged.
